Robin Israel's fiction has been published in The Adirondack ReviewWatershed Review, and The Stockholm Review of Literature, among others. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and the Best of the NetShe is a recipient of the Carlisle Family Scholarship from the Community of Writers at Squaw Valley and a contributor at the Sewanee Writers' Conference. She is an Assistant Fiction Editor at Newfound, a nonprofit publisher that explores how place shapes identity, imagination, and experience.

Robin has two cats, Muriel Spark and Zinnia, teaches college writing and literature classes, runs two literary organizations that she started, and reads stuff. She used to travel all over the world, but now she spends a lot of time traveling between Tucson and Phoenix, or driving across town in traffic, thinking about rain in the desert.
